Account Manager - Lincolnshire

Our client is looking to recruit a driven and dynamic Account Manager to join their team in Spilsby.

The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts and buying groups, nurturing and developing these partnerships to maximise performance and long-term value.

A key part of the role will be to identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding our client’s customer base and increasing market share through proactive prospecting and strategic planning. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, increasing market presence, and ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and support.

You will confidently represent our client’s business at customer meetings, trade exhibitions, supplier open days, and customer events, delivering engaging presentations and building meaningful industry connections.

This role will be predominantly office based, with telephone and email being the main way of contacting your clients.  However, flexibility, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to travel to meet with clients will be essential.

Skills & Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will be confident and articulate in their communication, and comfortable building rapport with a wide range of individuals
  • Has the ability to adapt their approach depending on the audience.
  • Be goal-driven, resilient in the face of rejection, and motivated not only by personal achievement but by progression within the company.
  • Most importantly, our client is looking for someone who possesses a genuine hunger to succeed, is ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to continuously improve
  • Experience in a sales-oriented role is advantageous; however, far greater value is placed on attitude, mindset, drive and personality believing skills can be developed.
