Our well-established client is looking to recruit an ambitious, experienced and highly motivated Electrician to join their fast-growing team. As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for completing a mixture of solar installation, solar panel and EV servicing as well as inspection, testing, fault finding and remedial work on both commercial and domestic properties.
With excellent communication skills, you’ll collaborate closely with the office team; managing your own workload, communicating effectively with suppliers and act as key point of contact for customers, ensuring their technical questions are answered, whilst providing best in class customer service.
As part of their servicing program, you’ll ensure that all installations meet our high standards for quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
- Service EV charging points, solar panels, and perform remedial electrical work as needed.
- Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics
- Inspect, test, fault find and write up reports following site visits.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
- Travel to various UK sites, as most of your time will be spent on-site.
Essentials:
- 18th Edition qualified.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- ECS Card with additional safety qualifications for working at heights, confined spaces, etc.
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills.
- Valid full UK driving license.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good problem solving and installation skills.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Desirable:
Experience in the solar PV industry is ideal but not essential – full training will be provided on solar and EV charging installations.
For this role, we’re looking for candidates based in the Maidstone, Kent area. The position will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays.
Working hours: 40 a week, Monday - Friday.
Salary £35,000- £48,000 dependent on experience.
Holiday: 25 days holiday and bank holidays, rising to 29 with long service recognition. Plus, a gifted day off for your birthday
