Our client a well-established, family business is looking to recruit an Junior Showroom Assistant /Designer to join their small but busy company.
Based in central Lincoln your duties will include:
Dealing with customers face to face in a showroom environment, discussing their requirements and discussing suitable products.
Advising customers on room design and layout, so a creative flair is a Plus
Overseeing customers that walk through the door, checking orders, paperwork, e-mails, telephone enquiries, liaising with suppliers and always keeping the showroom clean & tidy
Taking on the role of overseeing installations from start to finish
Being a port of call for both the customer and the installer.
Going out to site, meeting the customers as well as doing a check list of the room.
To liaise with the customer after installation, organise any snagging work and to take photos to be uploaded to the company’s social media and website
Requirements
Previous sales experience
Previous Customer Service experience
Smart in appearance, ideally experienced in a showroom environment, with a willingness to learn about new products
Cad or design experience would be beneficial
Hours of work 09.00- 17.00,
Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week
Salary dependent upon experience
20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
On-Site Parking.
Drivers Licence is required.
