Due to continued growth our client is looking to recruit an ambitious, experienced and highly motivated Electrician to join their Lincoln team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will compete a mixture of solar panel servicing, EV charging points servicing, as well as inspection, testing, fault finding and remedial work on both commercial and domestic properties.
You will work closely with the office team, managing your own workload, and act as key point of contact for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
- Service EV charging points, solar panels, and perform remedial electrical work as needed.
- Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics.
- Inspect, test, fault find and write up reports following site visits.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality work and will bring a mix of technical expertise and excellent communication skills to the team.
Experience of solar and EV charging point installations is desirable, but not essential. The role would suit a qualified electrician, from a maintenance and servicing background looking for a new challenge.
Essentials:
- Experience in maintenance and servicing as an electrician
- 18th Edition qualified
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- ECS Card with safety qualifications for working at heights & confined spaces
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills.
- Valid full UK driving license.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good problem solving and installation skills.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Desirable:
- Experience in the solar PV industry is ideal but not essential – full training will be provided on solar and EV charging installations.
Salary £40,000 - £45,000 – 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday.
25 days holiday + BH and day off for birthday
Up to 10% annual bonus based on your performance.
£50 a night stays away bonus and £25 day food allowance with overnight stays
Fully provided uniform and PPE and fully provided tools.
The position will involve travel to various UK sites including occasional overnight stays.
