Our client has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Solar Installation Team Leader to join their fast-growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality Solar PV installations for both commercial and residential properties.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and motivated Solar Installation / Roofing Team Leader with hands-on experience. You will love being part of a collaborative team, where working together to achieve great results is key. Whether you’re installing solar PV systems or taking on roofing tasks, your expertise will help drive the success of our projects.
As Team Leader, you’ll guide a team of PV Installers/Roofers, ensuring daily tasks are clear and carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, where you will be working outdoors in all weather conditions, often at heights, so physical fitness and a readiness to tackle challenges are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work site
- Lead unloading deliveries and moving materials
- Work independently, showing initiative and self-motivation whilst managing the team
- Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively to senior staff
- Be reliable and punctual, ensuring tasks are completed on time
- Stay organised and efficient in your work
- Demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Meet the physical demands of the job
- Be adaptable and open to learning new skills
Essentials:
- Experience in PV Installations or Roofing
- Experience in leading a team
- Confident with working at heights
- CSCS card (or happy to train towards it)
- Full driver’s license
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check

For this role, we’re looking for candidates based around the Lincoln area. The position will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays.
Our working hours are 40 a week, Monday - Friday.
Salary £35,000 - £45,000 dependent upon experience
