Our well-established client is looking to recruit a Trainee Foot Health Practitioner to work part-time at their small but busy, independent company.

Job Description
You will spend one day a week in your first 6 months doing home-based online training (in your own time) to achieve a recognised qualification in footcare.
On the other 2 days per week, you will initially shadow a podiatrist to learn practical aspects of the role. These include nail cutting, scalpel skills, neurovascular assessment, instrument care and cleaning.
You will progress to work with supervision and then to work independently within your scope of practice.
Requirements
- Keen to develop new skills and expand your interest in different areas of practice
- Passionate about great service and have attention to detail
- Skilled at building relationships and able to talk to people easily about health issues
- Have a relevant qualification in healthcare or nails and a minimum of a year’s experience in this or an equivalent field.
Hours of work
3 days per week – increasing to 5 days over a year period.
Starting salary will be minimum wage+ for the shadowing / in office hours; once qualified the wages would increase to circa £15 - £18 per hour.
