Voluntary Board Members
Our client a Non-For-Profit Organisation are looking to recruit Voluntary Board Members to help shape the future of housing for older people in the Lincolnshire area.
Board members are responsible for providing strong, independent and effective governance of the organisation. Working collectively, the Board sets the strategic direction of the Association, oversees performance and risk, and ensures our client operates with integrity, accountability and in line with its values, regulatory requirements and social purpose.
Each Board member exercises independent judgement while sharing collective responsibility for Board decisions.
Board members are responsible for
- Upholding and promoting the organisations culture, values and objectives
- Upholding the Association’s core policies, including equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
- Keep high standards of governance, conduct and probity, contributing to a culture of integrity and accountability.
Board Members are expected to:
- Prepare for and attend Board and Committee meetings. – 10 per year
- Participate in training, development and self-evaluation.
- Commit time outside meetings to read papers and stay informed

- Information Technology
This is a voluntary role with reasonable expenses reimbursed
